Google videos watched this weekend

The first video I watched was really really sick - I mean absolutely obnoxious - BIG WARNING - Do NOT Watch - the video is called PepsiGirl-Super Burp

Mario-Live - A MUST WATCh. The LIVE in the title does not refer to online(as in XBOX Live) Instead it actual means what it says - Live as in Alive. Check it out. Full marks for imagination and effort. Reminds one of the Ping Pong Matrix.

Football Skills One more compilation of football - well worth a watch in the present World Cup context.

Another MUST WATCH - a comedian showing dance styles froms th e60's to recent times - The Evolution of Dance

And finally got the chance to watch the trailer of The Inconvenient Truth.

Philipp Lenssen's list of 10 things you might not know about Google.

Of special relevance to me was his point 9 quoted below:

"9. Google comic book search.
While Google doesn't have its own comic book search engine, you can still achieve good results by going to Google Images, setting the file size to "Large images", and then searching for [comics]. Using this setting, you can also search for an artist's name, like ["john byrne"], ["john romita jr"], ["frank miller"] or ["daniel clowes"]. You might even have some fun adding your own speech bubbles to the comic book pages you find (use a free font like WebLetterer for best results)..."

Now to go over to google and try this.

"Raison d'être to Love British Summer"

A great "welcome to the summer" post by Piscean as he is happy with the advent of the British Summer.
Similarly Annon was quite thrilled with the advent of spring in the East coast of US. A philosophical day for him.

The Dilbert Blog

The Dilbert Blog:
"Now all I had to do was convince my doctor(s) that I wasn’t nuts and that I had a very rare condition. As you might imagine, when you tell a doctor that you think you have a very rare condition, that doctor will tell you that it’s very unlikely. Your first impulse might be to point out that “very rare” is a lot like “very unlikely,” but you don’t do that, because doctors have wide latitude in deciding which of your orifices they will use for various medical apparati. So you go with the protocol which involves systematically eliminating all the things that are more likely."

That's classic Scott Adams.

Check out another of his gems that resonates with me:
...but I couldn’t speak in most situations. My entire personality depends on being witty and charming. Relying instead on my good looks isn’t a good Plan B. I learned that loneliness is only solved by speaking, and not by listening.

Check this post and the rest of his blog.
